Full-stack Developer

Our client is a Belgian family-owned company providing energy market access, portfolio management and energy balancing services to electricity suppliers, big industry and developers of renewable energy assets. Established in 2017, the company is present in Belgium, France and the Netherlands and intends to grow fast to all the European power markets.

The headquarter is in Kortrijk. The energy market is changing rapidly. The integration of renewable energy production assets increases the volatility of the electricity markets and requires a high level of expertise, a state-of-the-art back-office platform and very qualified people who can adapt continuously to new paradigms. For that reason, the company needs someone who will help them to develop and operate new products and services allowing them to grow their competitive edge.

We are looking for someone who can work independently but also in a team, who is innovative and likes to bring ideas to reality. Management is there to help, to challenge and to ensure a good work environment. They give a lot of freedom but expect to collaborate with people who wants to excel in their job.

Functie

As a full-stack developer you will join a team of experienced developers and work on the further development of their applications. You will closely follow the latest technologies and find yourself in a challenging environment within the fascinating sector of the energy market.

Profiel

  • You are interested in the electricity market.
  • You have completed a computer science education (bachelor or master) or equivalent through experience.
  • You have min 2 years of experience in .Net.
  • You have a good knowledge of Microsoft development environments (C# .NET 4.5/Core, ASP.NET MVC…),Microsoft Azure Cloud technology, HTML, CSS, Javascript, Microsoft SQL Server
  • You are interested in front-end developments with e.g. React, Knockout.JS, Angular
  • You are a good problem-solver and approach a problem from different angles which allows you to come up with new, creative solutions.
