Application Manager

For a fast-growing manufacturing company, we are looking for a hands-on ERP Application Manager.
The group will implement a new ERP package (MS Dynamics F&O) and want to attract someone who will lead this project.

In this key role, the application manager will act as the bridge between the needs of their business departments and the ERP solution, ensuring seamless implementation across the organization.

Functie

  • Understand and analyze the current systems (own build applications) to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Collaborate with departments (production, logistics, finance, etc.) to gather their needs and ensure they are reflected in the ERP system.
  • Lead the ERP implementation, introducing modules step by step while ensuring strong alignment across internal teams.
  • Direct the software partner and other external consultants.
  • Evaluate and optimize current processes to improve efficiency, standardization, and flexibility.
  • Identify custom needs and differentiate ERP functions from other tools (e.g., WMS, MES, BI).
  • You give support and training to the users.
  • Define user roles and access levels, as well as onboarding procedures for new employees.

Profiel

  • At least 3 years of experience implementing ERP systems (SAP, D365, or equivalent).
  • A solid understanding of software environments (ERP, WMS, CMMS, MES, CRM, HR systems).
  • Experience in the food industry or knowledge of traceability systems (a plus).
  • Project management expertise: Familiarity with principles and methodologies to manage ERP rollout projects.
  • Strong problem-solving skills to handle technical challenges quickly and effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills to interact with stakeholders at all levels.
  • A detail-oriented mindset to ensure system accuracy and data integrity.
  • You’re independent, a great team player, and excel in building connections.
  • Dynamic, proactive and curious.
  • Fluency in English. A good knowledge of French. Knowledge of Dutch is a plus.
